Supported subset

Model XY LINE, CIRCLE and simple straight lightweight polylines. TRIM uses finite straight cutters and LINE targets. OFFSET uses miter corners and keeps the Source layer. Curves, blocks and dependent records require native CAD. This independent documented subset has UNKNOWN nanoCAD runtime parity.

Open a 2D drawingChoose a local DXF or a standard-version DWG file. Unverified content is blocked.

Save As

The original local file is never overwritten. Choose a new filename for the DXF copy.

Close drawing

This drawing has unsaved changes.

Text: drag a box at least 4 pixels wide and high, then type directly. Text grows downward; spaces and blank paragraphs are kept. Enter adds a paragraph; Ctrl+Enter or Done commits once. Escape or Cancel discards the draft. Outside clicks do not commit. Pan temporarily moves the view and returns to the same caret. Double-click a selected text box or choose Edit text to re-enter; drag its border to move and side handles to change width. Drawing-unit X, Y, width and text height are in Selection. Delete explicitly removes a box. Save As commits valid pending text; composition and invalid text must be resolved first.

Getting Started

Open a local drawing and follow the status line. In Model, create a circle from its center and radius point, a rectangle from opposite corners, or a polygon from at least three vertices then Enter or its first vertex. Select a supported shape to Move, Apply numeric sizes or vertex coordinates, or Delete. Escape cancels previews; Undo restores committed edits. Save a Copy downloads the shapes, measurements and text as a new DXF. STEP and Layout remain inspection-only.
